The Bay Hotel was established in 1869 and occupies a superb position on Teignmouth's seafront, only yards from the town centre, beach or main shopping centre. The Hotel offers free parking. We are open for Tea's and coffee in the morning, lunch and afternoon tea and Dinner. We have a well stocked bar serving Real ale, Spirits and Wines. The Hotel also offers Wi-Fi access.
The Bay Hotel was built in 1869 for the Earl of Devon. It is now a fully refurbished hotel offering stylish, comfortable facilities. The accommodation offers 17 bedrooms including a four-poster suite, three family rooms, six double rooms, five twin rooms and two single rooms, all delightfully decorated in seaside pastille colours. Our bistro offers five starters, five main courses and five desserts per night, freshly cooked using the finest ingredients of Devon. The bar is light and airy, providing sea views and an outside terrace area for food or drinks service. Real ales and local wines and beers are on offer. The hotel is centrally located, not only within walking distance of the beach and town centre, but also only 15 minutes from Newton Abbot and 20 minutes from Torquay and the Cathedral City of Exeter.
